It's that time of year again, and girl you looked like some kind of exotic flower. You hung your poster on the tree last Sunday in the park. You, new curves, big brown eyes, beautiful smile. OK, so there isn't a Quartermaine's in Cleveland Park, at least not anymore.
Back when there was a Crown Books there I used to go into Quartermaine's daily. Shortly after it opened a young very atractive woman named Amanda started working there. We ended up dating briefly and hung out after we broke up for a bit but she moved out of DC. I know her father and step-mother lived in an apartment building just across the Klingle Vally bridge.
I've always wondered what happened to her. It was an odd time but I still think of her often but for the life of me I can not recall her last name.
