Metro's Oyster Yield Valuable Pearls

Tues, 30 June, 4:48 pm, Yellow Line Metro leaving L'Enfant. You, a lovely lady with European style like I knew on the Paris Metro during my year in the City of Lights. Me, a military man in camouflage wanting to be seen. You had a neck scarf, light blue blouse and a string of pearls. The pearls may be faux but my interest is real. I left the train at the Pentagon but you remain. Cafe madame?

One of a kind

Green Line, rush hour June 25. Petite, gorgeous, unique. You said the tattoos on your arm were from McGreet paintings? I'm not sure what that meant, but would love to know more. Given the news this week, our conversation was mccob. (Kicking myself for not getting your didjits!)) Would love a chance to cheer you up.

Jane Austin on MARC, June24

I should have said hi earlier. At the end of my ride, you asked me if this was BWI. I said yes. You were reading a Jane Austin anthology and wearing sandals. I guess you were going to Baltimore. Who knows if you read the DC City Paper matches section? If you do, please write. We should meet.

Mustang Girl

I let you pull into the parking spot in front of me - I was just being nice, I didn't even know then how incredibly mesmerizing you were. I'm still kicking myself for not getting out of my car to introduce myself to you. Please write back and keep me from kicking myself any longer!

Deja~ vu?

I think I saw you again 6/6/2009 at Dean and Deluca Georgetown having a drink. We met before at the Rosslyn Jazz festival 10/2007. You rode your bike and I walked across the key bridge into Georgetown, after we ate we walked by the water, you are from Kansas. I am from JA as it was before we did not exchange names or number. I cannot seem to forget you. Would you like to be formally introduced?? Perhaps drinks in Shirlington??

Avoided Collision at Metro Center

You - dreadloc wearing man with a warm smile and striped shirt. Me - dreadloc wearing tall woman with melon/pink colored top. We almost bumped into each other at Metro Center station. I later saw you having lunch at the Shops where we acknowledged each other with a "Hello". Maybe we can meet for lunch?

CHAKA KHAN @ WILSON PLAZA

You: Beautiful smile, natural fro, cream floral top (?), jeans, flipflops, reddish toenails. Me: short hair, sunglasses, stripped shirt; sitting about 20 ft to your right. Did I see you check me out or was that my wishful thinking? Same place for Julie Dexter?

Kasper under umbrella in Dupont

You asked to share my umbrella at the 42 bust stop just north of Dupont. I liked you, and your name was Kasper, but your real name is Leon and you were headed back to Virginia. I can't believe I got on the bus without us exchanging numbers. I hope I meet you again some day.

Potomac Yards and Star Trek

Potomac Yards Movie Theater... We were at the 7:40 showing of Star Trek on Friday 29 May 09. You were with a “friend” and sat two seats from me. I had on a black shirt and jeans. We smiled and enjoyed the movie more then your “friend” did. Maybe you will let me take you to the movies next time, it’s a long summer and I really like your smile
